Google Tasks Integration
Neuriq integrates with Google Tasks for task management.
How It Works
Creating Tasks
When you dump something like “Remind me to call mom tomorrow”, Neuriq:
- Recognizes it as a task
- Extracts the action and due date
- Creates a task in your “Neuriq Inbox” task list
- Syncs it to Google Tasks
Completing Tasks
When you complete a task in Neuriq:
- It’s marked as complete in your brain
- The Google Task is also marked complete
- Synced immediately
The Neuriq Task List
For organization, Neuriq creates its own task list:
- Name: “Neuriq Inbox”
- Purpose: All Neuriq-created tasks go here
This means:
- ✅ Your existing task lists stay organized
- ✅ Easy to identify Neuriq tasks
- ✅ Can manage Neuriq tasks in Google Tasks app too
Task Features
Due Dates
Neuriq automatically extracts due dates from your dumps:
- “tomorrow” → next day
- “next Friday” → upcoming Friday
- “in 2 weeks” → 14 days from now
- Specific dates work too
Descriptions
The original dump text is saved as the task description.
Subtasks
Break down complex tasks by dumping them with bullet points:
Project launch:
- Finish documentation
- Send announcement email
- Update website
Syncing
Tasks sync in real-time:
- Create in Neuriq → appears in Google Tasks immediately
- Complete in Google Tasks → reflects in Neuriq
- Edit in either place → changes sync
Troubleshooting
Tasks not syncing
- Check Settings → Integrations
- Verify Google Tasks permission
- Try reconnecting Google
Missing task list
The “Neuriq Inbox” list is created during onboarding. If missing, go to Settings → Setup and re-run brain setup.
