Connecting Your Google Account
Neuriq integrates with Google Calendar and Tasks to keep everything in sync.
What Gets Connected
When you connect Google, Neuriq gets access to:
- Google Calendar: To create and read events
- Google Tasks: To create and manage tasks
The Neuriq Sandbox
For your privacy, Neuriq uses a “sandboxed” approach:
What Neuriq CREATES:
- A new calendar called “Neuriq”
- A new task list called “Neuriq”
What stays under your control:
- Which calendars Neuriq may read for agenda-aware answers
- Your existing task lists
- Your Google account connection
Events and tasks created by Neuriq are sent to the Neuriq-specific calendar and task list whenever setup succeeds.
Choosing Which Calendars Neuriq Can Read
When you ask Neuriq “What’s on my agenda tomorrow?”, it needs to read your calendars. You control exactly which ones.
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Under “Calendars for Brain”, select which calendars Neuriq may read
- Only your primary calendar is enabled by default
Remember:
- ✏️ Writing targets the Neuriq calendar and task list
- 👁️ Reading comes from calendars you select
Reconnecting
If you see a “Reconnect Google” warning, your session has expired. Simply click the button and sign in again. Your data is not affected.
Disconnecting
To disconnect Google integration:
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Click Disconnect next to Google
- Confirm your choice
Note: If Google is your only login method, you cannot disconnect (you’d be locked out).
